Keyboard shortcuts
Most tools have a key. Each tool's card in this Help shows it. A key also shows when you hover over its button and beside it in lists and right-click menus.
- One key, two tools
- A key does the tool of the place you are in. On the part R is Revolve; in a sketch R is Rectangle. M is Move on the part and Mirror in a sketch.
- Pick first, then the key
- Click faces or edges on the part first (Ctrl or Shift adds more), then press the key: the tool opens with them picked. Edges then F rounds them; a face then H, M, Q or S puts a hole on it, moves it, press-pulls it or starts a sketch on it.

- Press ? anywhere: opens the list of every key, read from the tools themselves, so it is always right.
