Wall hook generator
A screw-on wall hook sized to what it holds. Type how deep the hook is inside, the tip's height and the width; one or two countersunk screws.
How to make yours
- Set how deep the hook is inside: what it has to hold.
- Set the tip's height, so nothing slides off, and the width.
- Thicken the arm for heavy things, and pick your screw size.
- Download it as STL, 3MF or STEP, and print it.
What each slider does
- Hook depth (inside) 10 to 100 mm
- How deep the hook is inside, between the wall and the tip.
- Back plate height 40 to 150 mm
- How tall the back plate on the wall is.
- Tip height 4 to 50 mm
- How far the tip stands up above the arm.
- Width 8 to 40 mm
- How wide the hook is.
- Arm thickness 3 to 10 mm
- How thick the arm is. Thicker holds more weight.
- Back plate thickness 4 to 10 mm
- How thick the back plate is.
- Screw diameter 3 to 5 mm
- The diameter of your screws. The holes are countersunk for their heads.
- Second screw on or off
- Switches on a second screw hole lower on the plate.
