Gridfinity screw sorter bin generator
A Gridfinity bin with one compartment per screw length, M2.5 to M8 and up: say how wide and long each compartment is, and how many.
How to make yours
- Set the compartment's thickness and width; each slot is a little bigger so it drops in.
- Set how many compartments along and how many rows; the bin grows one 42 mm square at a time to hold them.
- Set how deep each slot is, and tick on magnet holes if your baseplate has magnets.
- Download it as STL, 3MF or STEP, and print it.
What each slider does
- Compartment width 6 to 40 mm
- How wide each compartment is, side to side.
- Compartment length (screw length + head) 10 to 100 mm
- How long each compartment is, front to back: the screw lying down, head and all.
- Compartments along 1 to 10
- How many compartments sit side by side in a row.
- Rows 1 to 6
- How many rows of pockets there are, front to back.
- Pocket depth 5 to 40 mm
- How deep each compartment sits; the bin's height follows in 7 mm Gridfinity units.
- Magnet holes on or off
- Holes under each foot for magnets that hold the bin to a magnetic baseplate.
