Gridfinity pliers bin generator
A Gridfinity bin with a pocket a pair of pliers lies in, and a finger dip each side to lift them out. Set their length and width.
How to make yours
- Measure the pliers: its length and its widest point.
- Set how deep it should sit; the bin grows one 42 mm square at a time around it.
- A round finger dip on each long side lets you lift it out. Tick on magnet holes if your baseplate has magnets.
- Download it as STL, 3MF or STEP, and print it.
What each slider does
- Pliers length 80 to 240 mm
- How long the pliers is, end to end; the pocket is 1 mm longer.
- Pliers width 20 to 120 mm
- How wide the pliers is at its widest; the pocket is 1 mm wider.
- Pocket depth 5 to 40 mm
- How deep the pliers sits; the bin's height follows in 7 mm Gridfinity units.
- Magnet holes on or off
- Holes under each foot for magnets that hold the bin to a magnetic baseplate.
