Gridfinity drill bit bin generator
A Gridfinity bin with 19 holes for a drill bit set, from the smallest to the largest in even steps (1 to 10 mm in 0.5 mm steps to start).
How to make yours
- Set the smallest and the largest bit; the 19 holes grow evenly between them, in one row.
- Set the clearance: how much wider each hole is than its bit.
- Set how deep the holes are, and tick on magnet holes if your baseplate has magnets.
- Download it as STL, 3MF or STEP, and print it.
What each slider does
- Smallest bit 0.5 to 6 mm
- The thinnest bit's diameter, the first hole.
- Largest bit 4 to 13 mm
- The thickest bit's diameter, the last hole.
- Clearance 0.1 to 1 mm
- How much wider each hole is than the bit it holds.
- Pocket depth 10 to 50 mm
- How deep each bit sits; the bin's height follows in 7 mm Gridfinity units.
- Magnet holes on or off
- Holes under each foot for magnets that hold the bin to a magnetic baseplate.
