Gridfinity bin generator
A bin that fits your Gridfinity drawer. Say how many squares wide and deep and how many 7 mm units tall; tick on magnet holes, a scoop, dividers or a label shelf.
How to make yours
- Count how many grid squares the bin should cover, wide and deep. One square is 42 mm.
- Pick the height in 7 mm units: 3 makes a shallow tray, 6 holds pens and tools upright.
- Tick on what you want: magnet holes, a finger scoop, dividers and a label shelf.
- Download it as STL, 3MF or STEP, and print it.
What each slider does
- Width (squares) 1 to 8
- How many 42 mm grid squares wide the bin is.
- Depth (squares) 1 to 8
- How many grid squares deep the bin is.
- Height (units of 7 mm) 2 to 12
- How tall the bin is, in 7 mm units. The stacking lip sits on top.
- Compartments across 2 to 8
- How many compartments the dividers make across the bin.
- Scoop radius 1 to 20 mm
- How round the curve inside the front wall is, so small parts slide out under a finger.
- Magnet holes on or off
- Holes under each foot for magnets that hold the bin to a magnetic baseplate.
- Scoop on or off
- Switches the finger scoop on or off.
- Dividers on or off
- Switches the dividers on or off.
- Label shelf on or off
- Switches on a ledge along the top edge to stick a label on.
