Electronics enclosure generator
A project box for a circuit board: standoffs at its holes, a port opening and a lid that presses on. Type the board's size and where its holes are (a Raspberry Pi is the default).
How to make yours
- Type your board's length and width.
- Type where the first mounting hole is from the corner, and how far apart the holes are.
- Set the standoff height, the room above the board and the port opening.
- Download it as STL, 3MF or STEP, print the box and lid, and screw the board on.
What each slider does
- Board length 30 to 200 mm
- How long your circuit board is.
- Board width 20 to 110 mm
- How wide your circuit board is.
- First hole from the board's left edge 2.5 to 20 mm
- How far the first mounting hole is from the board's left edge.
- First hole from the board's front edge 2.5 to 20 mm
- How far the first mounting hole is from the board's front edge.
- Holes apart, along 10 to 190 mm
- How far apart the mounting holes are along the board.
- Holes apart, across 10 to 100 mm
- How far apart the mounting holes are across the board.
- Standoff height 3 to 15 mm
- How high the board sits above the floor.
- Screw pilot hole (M2.5: 2.2, M3: 2.6) 1.8 to 3.4 mm
- The hole in each standoff the screw cuts into.
- Room above the board 5 to 60 mm
- How much room there is above the board for its parts.
- Wall 2.4 to 4 mm
- How thick the walls are.
- Port opening on or off
- Switches the opening in the end wall on or off.
- Port width 4 to 30 mm
- How wide the port opening is.
- Port height 3 to 15 mm
- How tall the port opening is.
